Discover A More Efficient Way To Exercise (HIIT) - March 2, 2021

In today’s post I’d like get everyone up to speed with an exciting training style that is often underutilized:

High Intensity Interval Training (otherwise known as HIIT)

This type of training has become extremely well known as it allows exercisers to undergo an extremely effective workout in a short amount of time. For example, the typical HIIT workout is about 5x more effective than a traditional cardio workout. Meaning that you can get the same results in 5 minutes of HIIT training as you would with 25 minutes of jogging on the treadmill! Sounds too good to be true doesn't it?

For this reason we include a form of HIIT training  called the Tabata protocol into our Rejuv Exercise Programs. In fact, this protocol was one of the original forms of HIIT training and was developed by a Japanese doctor by the name of Dr. Izumi Tabata. He discovered that a highly effective workout can be achieved in only 4 minutes if you push yourself to your limits. He found that this type of training was highly beneficial for burning fat, protecting muscle tissue, and improving heart health, all while being extremely convenient & flexible. It's not easy, but at least it is over with quickly!
