Today we will dive into a BILLION dollar topic, and no that is not an exaggeration!

It’s all about staying fit & healthy as you age.

This year alone, across the globe people are estimated to spend a whopping $60 billion on
anti-aging efforts
.

That’s one of those numbers that is so massive that it is difficult to fully grasp.

Imagine this though: you don’t really have to break the bank in order to be healthy at EVERY age.

Think of your health & wellness like a retirement savings account.

The consistent investments you make NOW – by eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, taking proper care of your teeth/skin/eyes, avoiding smoking, etc. – will pay off BIG TIME in the future.

The BEST part is, it’s never too late to start contributing to your personal health account. 

1) Exercise creates a strong base of muscle (and bone) that will keep you resilient as you age… plus it keeps your heart healthy and helps you feel great!
2) Getting 7-8 hours of sleep each night builds a healthier and more focused brain.
3) Finding ways to manage stress boosts your mood and makes your body happy.
4) Eating healthy foods supplies your body with the nutrients it needs to function optimally.
5) Building social relationships keeps you feeling connected, which has a direct link to your feelings of well-being.

This means the workouts you are performing TODAY have the potential to pay off years down the line, and your decision to eat an orange versus a cupcake for your afternoon snack will as well.

It’s all about making small CONSISTENT choices that are beneficial to your health.

I challenge you to:

Come up with just ONE action you can commit to this month that can help you feel better starting right NOW.

Here are some examples:

-Take a 15-minute walk after lunch.
-Swap pop for glass of water.
-Follow along with a dynamic movement routine when you wake up each morning.
