What Does Physio-Assisted Active Rehab Entail?

Physio-Assisted Active Rehab is a dynamic-movement-focused treatment that involves the benefits of the vast knowledge of a Physiotherapist with the combined masterful movement coaching of a Kinesiologist. Receive support from an expert team dedicated to helping you work through your injuries by decreasing your pain, boosting your confidence and improving the functional strength of your body.

Active rehab begins with a detailed, high-level assessment completed by a Physiotherapist, who will develop a uniquely tailored treatment plan. Then, during your subsequent sessions,
a Kinesiologist will carry out the program under the supervision of the Physiotherapist. Finally, you’ll continue to meet with your physiotherapist in between for progress updates and treatment modifications.

Both Physiotherapy and Active Rehab services are available online via telehealth if requested!

Make Use Of Your Extended Health Benefits!

Do you have unused physiotherapy coverage through your job? Active rehab is considered an essential part of physiotherapy, therefore, you can use your extended health benefits to cover most of the costs!

*Some insurance providers may require a Doctor's note before starting treatments.

**We do not offer direct billing for all extended health providers at this time (only Pacific Blue Cross), but we will provide you with the necessary receipts for reimbursement.

***Please confirm with your provider that physio-supervised active rehab is specifically covered under your plan.
